Description

The J. Heyrovsky Institute of Physical Chemistry offers a Cotutelle PhD position in the physics of 2D materials, in collaboration with the Helmholtz Zentrum. This project focuses on the mechanical deformation of nanoribbons derived from graphene and transition metal dichalcogenides, exploring their structural, electrical, and optoelectronic properties. The candidate will work with research teams from both the Czech Academy of Sciences and Helmholtz Zentrum, using advanced research facilities. Applicants must have a Master's degree in Physics or a related field, with experience in 2D materials, Raman spectroscopy, or lithography.
